My goal for the 2014 Long Island half marathon
I’m not a die hard runner nor do I love running but I do it on a consistent basis. I do it to set a goal and accomplish it. My usual goal is to get to the Long Island half marathon, finish the race and then drink beer with family and friends. my running pace has slowed down a bit over the years but I guess age can do that to you……. This year I figure, why not beat the odds and have my best run of all time. My goal for 2014 Long Island marathon is averaging under 8 minute mile pace and finishing under 1 hour 44 min and 50 sec.
